Last year the Mavs played Holly, always a tough opponent, in a pre-season scrimmage. Chelsea Shrewsbury and Kate Gilbert both scored giving MHS a 2-0 win. Allie Zemaitis notched a couple assists.

In the 2006 regular season, Walled Lake Western visited MHS. In a tight defensive struggle, Senior Megan McCall found the back of the net, assisted by Lindsay Allward and Chelsea Shrewsbury giving our favorite soccer team a 1-0 win. Senior Amanda Ballnik earned her fourth shutout of the season. The defense, anchored by Jess Martens, Erica Adams and Shannon Dunn was nothing short of phenomenal against a continual WLW attack.
